Athlete applications
When applications are open, SUBVERT collects your name, email, academy, belt, competition weight, competition experience and optional Instagram handle to assess your application and contact you about the event. Applications are stored in the website’s protected database and are not published as athlete profiles automatically.
Access and retention
The SUBVERT site owner can access applications for event selection. The site also stores a salted hash of the submitting connection’s IP address for abuse prevention. Application data is intended to be removed within 12 months of the event unless a separate agreement requires retention. Applications do not sign you up for marketing or a future athlete database.
Broadcast and shop
YouTube is contacted only after you choose to load a broadcast player. Its privacy-enhanced player is used, and Google’s own privacy policies apply once you load it. Merchandise purchases, when available, are completed through Shopify and are subject to the store’s shipping, return and privacy policies.
